Personal Buddy started with a 3D printer, a box of electronics, and a question: what if a desk gadget was made for exactly one person?
We are a new workshop in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We design, print, assemble, and program every Buddy ourselves, one unit at a time. No warehouse, no dropshipping, no mystery supply chain. When you order, your Buddy does not exist yet. Then we make it exist, for you.

Every Buddy is built to order at our Halifax bench:
- Designed here. The shell, the joints, the face engine, the firmware.
- Printed here. Each body takes about six hours on our printers.
- Assembled and wired here. Every sensor, LED, and screen placed by hand.
- Programmed here. Your choices from the builder are flashed before it ships.
- Tested here. Nothing leaves the bench until it passes our checkout. [CONFIRM: burn-in and QC procedure]
