Terms of Sale.
Ordering
1. Made to order.
Every Personal Buddy is built for one customer after the order is confirmed. Your configuration, including colours, features, name, and greeting, is part of the order record. Changes are possible before printing begins; after that, changes may carry a fee or be refused.
2. Prices and payment.
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes (GST/HST, PST, QST where applicable) and shipping are shown before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Configurator prices are estimates until confirmed in writing.
Features and custom work
3. Pre-order and coming-soon features.
Features tagged PRE-ORDER ship when their firmware passes factory testing; we will tell you the expected timing before you pay. Features tagged COMING SOON are not sold and not charged. If a pre-order feature is cancelled, you may remove it for a refund of its price or cancel the order.
4. Custom designs.
Custom-tier orders begin with a quote. Nothing is charged until you approve the design and the price in writing. Approved custom designs are final unless we fail to deliver what was agreed.
Your part
5. Your responsibilities.
Use the supplied or a certified 5V USB-C power supply. Do not open the electronics module; doing so voids the warranty. Custom text you request must be lawful and must not infringe third-party rights; we may refuse text we cannot print in good conscience.
6. Liability.
Our liability is limited to the price you paid for your Buddy. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
